I grew up practicing ballet, but when I decided to not pursue it professionally, I was looking for a way to stay active and continue to move my body. I’ve always loved being outside and the barriers to entry for running seemed low, so I gravitated towards it. My love for running really developed as I started to attend various run clubs and build a community through running.

As a child I suffered from acute asthma – I was the kid walking with his inhaler everywhere. I was in and out of hospitals, it was no fun. Running is what helped strengthen my lungs!
