Welcome to the Inaugural Venice Beach Half Marathon and 5k!

On May 18, 2025 runners like you will start and finish on the Venice Beach boardwalk for the first Venice Beach Half Marathon and 5k (VBHM). All finishers will receive the inaugural finisher medal and race t-shirt. Local musicians will set the beat on the course and the finish line party will include a Fitness Festival at Windward Plaza, more live music, and an ocean front view.

Parking

Please be mindful that the Start Line is approximately one mile from the Finish Line. Therefore, parking is available at either location.

Parking near the Start Line is located at 2701 Barnard Way, Santa Monica, CA 90405 located approx. 1 mile from the finish line. Lots open at 5:00am and are cash only.

Parking near the Finish Line is available online at Parking Lots & Fees – Beaches & Harbors. Please review road closures as access to these lots will be impacted.

Course Closure and Cut Off Times

The course will close at 11 A.M. We recommend that participants keep a fifteen minute pace for the half marathon. However, participants running at a slower pace can run along the sidewalk to the finish line once the course closes. The finish line will be open until 11:30 a.m.
